Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed numerous classrooms having chemicals stored accessible to children; (Recommendation) lock chemicals up when not in use, either a lockable area within classroom and/or locking classroom door when room is vacant. |
