Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed a few minor stained ceiling tiles throughout school buildings. EHS advises school to ensure no active leak is occurring and to have stained ceiling tiles replaced. |

Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b).
Observed chemicals stored in closet unlocked in mobile building. Observed wipes labeled “Keep out of Reach of Children” stored accessible to children throughout. Observed chemical ice packs labeled “Keep out of Reach of Children” stored accessible to children in 3rd/4th building. Needs to be stored as manufacturer instructs to avoid health hazards. |
