Observed black and pink microbial growth present on and in water nozzle on main hall, A hall, B hall and C hall. Thoroughly clean water nozzles on water fountains. Highly recommend using a new baby bottle brush or a new tooth brush to clean water nozzles on water fountains. Drinking fountains shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2406 (b). |

Observed water stained ceiling tiles throughout in different classrooms and cafeteria. Custodian informed me that roof leaks was repaired during summer time and school system was waiting before replacing water stained ceiling tiles to make sure roof leaks have been repaired. Replace water stained ceiling tiles. Observed lower section of wall soiled in hallway and missing/damaged paint in different classrooms. Clean lower section of walls throughout school and touch-up paint/repaint throughout where needed. Clean walls leading into bathrooms. Observed loose and damaged rubber corner moulding on steps leading up to stage in gym/multi purpose room. Replace and tightly secure moulding. Clean ceiling tiles around ceiling ventilation in cafeteria. Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. |

Store cleaning products, hand sanitizer, alcohol, acetona and disinfectant wipes stored out of reach of children or locked away. Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b).General Comment: #8. Observed ceiling ventilation covers in cafeteria soiled. Thoroughly clean ceiling ventilation covers in cafe. Replace blown light bulbs in light fixtures where needed. Nail down protruding pins in black border around playground equipment.Mr. Ken Huey present at time of inspection. |
