Observed water fountains soiled throughout in D, A, and B hall. Observed water pressure too high on water fountain throughout in all hallways. Adjust water pressure on water fountains so water does not splatter onto the floor and so water will not flow below mouth guard. Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b). Thoroughly clean stall fixtures in all bathroom. Tightly secure rubber base cove moulding behind toilet in boys bathroom in modular unit. Monitor ceiling in modular unit bathrooms and repair any roof leaks. Replace damaged female hygiene waste basket in girls bathroom on C hall.Walls and ceilings of toilet facilities shall be constructed of non-absorbent, washable materials and shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (b).Toilet fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (d). |

Observed water stained ceiling tiles throughout in classrooms, hallway and storage rooms( hall near girls locker room, computer room between D and A hall, A7, A12, A5, B2, C5, C6). Monitor ceiling and duct work for any leaks and repair if needed. Observed gaps along corner of wall in D hall. Monitor, seal and repaint corners of wall. Observed wall damaged around window in modular unit MC233. Repair any leaks around windows, then repair wall around windows. Clean floors throughout in classrooms. Replace broken floor tile in MC233. |
