Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed stained ceiling tiles sporadically throughout school building (media center, 400 hallway near janitor closet, 500 hallway between restrooms). EHS advises school to ensure no active leak is occurring and to replace stained ceiling tiles. Observed some floor tiles missing in main gym, school is actively working to have floor tiles repaired in gym area. |

All windows and fixtures (grills, vents, blinds, drapes, lighting fixtures, etc.) shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2412 (b). Observed dead insects inside of light shields sporadically throughout school building. Observed several light fixtures not working within school, per Head Custodian, a work order has been submitted to have lights repaired. |
