Toilet fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (d). Observed 1 toilet out of order in girls restroom located on 700 hallway and boys restroom on 400 hallway. Repair. Observed 1 toilet stopped up and in need of cleaning in boys restroom on 500 hallway. Repair/clean. Observed detailed cleaning needed to several toilets throughout school building.
Walls and ceilings of toilet facilities shall be constructed of non-absorbent, washable materials and shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (b). Observed toilet paper stuck to walling/ceiling in the following areas; girls 700 hallway restroom, boys and girls 200 hallway restroom, and boys 500 hallway restroom. Clean.

Observed several stained ceiling tiles in the following areas; custodial closet 400 hallway, outside of girls and boys lockers room in gym, and 900 building custodial closet. Observed ceiling tile missing out of girls locker room. Replace.
EHS advises school to ensure no active leak is occurring and to have stained ceiling tiles replaced.
Observed floor tiles cracked and missing in custodial closet on 400 hallway. Repair.
Observed ceiling plaster peeling in boys lower 900 restroom. Repair. |
