Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed gaps in ceiling tile and damaged floor tile at the edge of the wall in room 713. Observed stained ceiling tile in band-room storage. Discussed with PIC and suggest replacing tile. Observed doors at the end of the 700 hall adjacent to classroom 715 and at the end of the 800 hall adjacent to classrooms 805 & 807 with gap allowing room for insects, snakes and rodents. Suggested adding weather stripping between and under doors. |

Storage spaces and custodians' closets shall be kept clean and arranged so as to facilitate cleaning. 15A NCAC 18A .2411.
All storage shall be at least 15 inches above the floor or otherwise arranged so as to permit thorough cleaning. 15A NCAC 18A .2411. Observed some storage rooms with storage on the floor and in need of tidying up. Discussed with PIC to ask housekeeping staff to frequently check and tidy up storage closets |
