Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed carpets in all classrooms having large stains in need of removal; (custodians cleaning once per year, discussion on increasing frequency).

There shall be no fly or mosquito breeding places, rodent harborages, or undrained areas on the premises. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (a). Observed large areas of standing water / mud on both upper and lower play grounds in need of proper grading and repair.
Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed chemicals accessible to children in numerous classrooms (doors left unlocked). |
