Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b).- Observed very low water pressure on fountains in 2/3 grade hall and outside buildings. Need repair and provide adequate water pressure when in use.

Drinking fountains shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2406 (b).- Observed buildup around the drain, and detailed cleaning needed on all parts of the water fountains throughout the facility. Observed some water fountains in the out building and one in the 2/3 grade hall are not currently working. Keep all drinking fountains in good repair. |

Soap and individual towels or approved hand-drying devices shall be provided. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (c).- Observed no paper towel available at the hand sink in the boys restroom in 2/3 grade hall and the outside building. Ensure to provide all hand washing supplies at all hand sinks at all time.
Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b). -Observed missing faucet knob at one of the girls restrooms outside building. The custodian stated that work order had been placed, and part is here to be replace. |
