General Comments

1. Observed no backflow preventer on hose bib in boys restroom near auditorium.Backflow connections and cross-connections with unapproved water supplies are prohibited. 15A NCAC 18A 2405 (c).11.Observed hazardous cleaners and aerosols present within the reach of children in 511 and in 916.Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b).. Ms. Craig present during inspection.Mr. Cohnes received inspection.Surveyed rooms for damaged during flooding that occurred the Monday prior to the inspection. Rooms surveyed were 400 403 407 409 and 410. Observed no odor in rooms. According to staff rooms flooded because of broken line for HVAC units. Recommend informing the Department when flooding issued occur to ensure proper methods are used for repairs. Observed wood cabinets in area that were flooded. Ensure that all water has been removed from room and that there is not water between cabinets and floor.Call 704 336-5100 to report any issues with flooding, interruption in utilities or any other similar types of issues that arise.
