General Comment: #8. General wiping/cleaning of grates/covers on heating and cooling units within classrooms. Wipe/clean computer monitors in classrooms.**All windows and fixtures (grills, vents, blinds, drapes, lighting fixtures, etc.) shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2412 (b). #11. Observed disinfectant wipes not properly stored in MC1009. Dinfectant wipes properly stored. Store cleaning products out of reach of children or locked away. Observed trash/debris under and behind modular units. Clean grounds around modular units. Observed area on the playground behind modular unit holding water. Fill in low area on playground so grounds do not hold water. Repair damaged fencing/poles in front of modular units. The premises of the school under control of the principal shall be kept neat and clean at all times. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (a). There shall be no fly or mosquito breeding places, rodent harborages, or undrained areas on the premises. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (a). FLOOR TILES ARE MISSING THROUGHOUT ON MAJORITY OF THE FLOOR AND OTHER FLOOR TILES ARE LOOSE SERVING AS A TRIP HAZARD! TEACHERS INFORMED ME THAT STUDENTS AND THEMSELVES HAVE BEEN TRIPPING OVER MISSING AND LOOSE FLOOR TILES. REPAIR IMMEDIATELY ! PREVENT AN ACCIDENT AND LAW SUIT BEFORE IT HAPPENS! Replace cracked/damaged floor tiles in MC1102 and MC1093. Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. f.
