A) General Comment - Observed the drop ceiling fram with a spot of rust in the 3rd grade restroom. **Walls and ceilings of toilet facilities shall be constructed of non-absorbent, washable materials and shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (b).B) Observed a toilet without water in R506 gilrs restroom, a toilet bowl was cracked in R506 boys, the floor drain cover was missing in the 3rd grade boys restroom, the toilets were dirty in R506, and a toilet had rust stains in the 3rd grade girls restroom.**Toilet fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (d). |

Observed some book storage rooms, and other storage rooms with supplies stored on the floor, and the storage area under that sink in room 321 (art) was dusty and had several dead roaches in a sticky trap.**All storage shall be at least 15 inches above the floor or otherwise arranged so as to permit thorough cleaning. 15A NCAC 18A .2411. General Comment: Observed some custodian carts with paper stock stored next to or beneath chemical cleaners and mop buckets. **Organize carts so that paper stock is separate and above chemical cleaners and mop water. |
