Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b).
Observed water fountains with too low pressure outside of 215, 216, and in cafeteria. Needs adjustment. REPEAT.
General Comment:

Observed 2 toilets out of order in boys mobile bathroom. Observed 1 toilet out of order in girls gym bathroom. The plumbers were onsite upon arrival to school repairing a back up in the boys mall bathroom. |

Observed damaged floor tile in one of the gym mobile classrooms. Observed stained/damaged ceiling tiles in the gym mobiles, gym, cafeteria, 122, 108, 118,133, weight room, gym storage room, and some other areas. Needs to be checked for leaks and repaired/replaced. Observed damage to rubber coating on stairs. Needs repaired. REPEAT. |
