General Comment:
Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b).
*** Observed some of water fountains with very low pressure need adjustment. Provide adequate water pressure at all water fountains.

*** Observed many water fountains throughout the school need detail cleaning all around spouts, crevices, nozzles, drains, and surfaces. Keep all water fountains clean and good repair. |

*** Observed disrepair/missing soap dispenser in boy and girl restrooms at the stadium, and men restroom at the front of building main office. Observed soiled sinks in boy and girl restrooms at the stadium. Observed disrepair faucet and vent on the wall in 200 hall girl restroom, and men restroom at the front of building main office. Observed stained sink in 100 hall girl restroom. Observed several hand sinks throughout the school need caulking and keep in good repair.
Soap and individual towels or approved hand-drying devices shall be provided. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (c).
*** Observed no soap available in boy’s restroom at the stadium. Ensure to provide all hand washing supplies at all hand sinks at anytime. |

*** Observed dropping/ misplace/ missing ceiling tiles, dust/ mildew stained of ceiling tiles in 580, 584, 500, 576, 313 orchestra, 314 band exposed HVAC ductwork, JROCT hallway, 300 culinary art room, main office front of restrooms, cafeteria area, 102, 104, 105, 223. Check for leaks, repair the issues replace the ceiling tiles. Observed dead bugs in light shield in restroom 200 hall need cleaning. Observed lighting needs repair in locker rooms. Keep all floors, walls, and ceilings areas clean and good repair throughout. |
