Patch holes in wall behind ceiling mounted heating and cooling units. Replace ceiling tiles with microbial growth present and repair any roof leaks!. Replace missing ceiling tiles . Tightly secure loose hanging ceiling tiles in rooms and gym area! Do not want ceiling tiles to fall and hit student or teacher in the head! Replace broken floor tiles. Tightly secure loose transitional moulding and replace damaged transitional moulding in modular units!---> trip hazards!. Repair floor near top of stairway near office area. Clean floors, walls and ceiling throughout. Repair floor walls and ceiling throughout. Observed gaps at base of exit doors from classroom area nd hallway area. Provide door sweep to place on base of doors to eliminate gap and to prevent from bugs/insects from getting into school. Repair walls in modular unit. Observed german cockroaches present in the auditorium near the piano and stage. Have school exterminated to address roach issue. Also observed large water bugs in weight room and dead water bugs present throughout in other areas of the school. Providing door sweep on base of exit doors will somewhat help control water bug issues. Fill in low washed out/ eroded area around base of modular unit pillars on west side of school building.There shall be no fly or mosquito breeding places, rodent harborages, or undrained areas on the premises. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (a).Mr. Jimmie Black present at time of inspection. |
