Observed water fountains soiled around water nozzles and on mouth guards on water fountains. Thoroughly clean water fountains throughout school building. Observed some water fountains splashing water on to the floor throughout different buildings. Adjust water pressure on water fountains so water does not splash onto the floor and so water is coming up slightly beyond mouth guards. Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b). Thoroughly clean and repair floors, walls and ceiling in modular unit bathrooms. Observed holes in walls, ceiling and damaged flooring in modular unit bathrooms(both sides of campus). Thoroughly clean toilet fixtures in bathrooms, tighten loose toilet seats and repair out of order toilets in bathrooms throughout. Thoroughly clean underside of men wall urinals and where toilets bolts to the floor. Thoroughly clean floor beside and behind toilets. Clean wall under hand drying devices in bathrooms! Recommend just removing broken mirror from weight room until mirror can be replaced.
