Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b). Observed several spring loaded faucets sporadically throughout school building not functioning or with short run times. Per head custodian, work orders have been submitted to have spring loaded faucets repaired. Observed 1 spring loaded faucet knob missing in girls restroom located on level 2. EHS advises school to have run times adjusted to a minimum of 15 seconds, as needed, to allot proper handwashing. |

Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed 1 stained ceiling tiles on ground level outside of boys restroom. Observed 1 stained ceiling tile leading into girls locker room in gym. EHS advises school to ensure no active leak is occurring and to have stained ceiling tiles replaced. |
