-Observed several water fountains with high pressure the water splashes onto the floor and wall. Follow the ruke below.
Drinking fountains shall be provided with adequate water pressure and be properly regulated (i.e. water pressure should be regulated so that an individual’s mouth does not come in contact with the nozzle and so that the water does not splash on the floor). 15A NCAC 18A 2406 (b). |

-Observed the black growth on the ceiling of the boy's restroom (MC593) with spray paint over it. THE PAINT DOES NOT STOP THE MOLD GROWTH. Fix accordingly.

-Observed some of the spring loaded faucets in the mobile restrooms not staying on for 15 seconds. Ensure all spring loaded faucets stay on for a minimum of 15 seconds to facilitate proper handwashing.
Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b).
-General Comment: Observed the paper towel holder in the boy's modular restroom not working.
Soap and individual towels or approved hand-drying devices shall be provided. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (c). |
