#11. Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed disinfectant wipes stored in reach of children in some classes in lower school building. EHS advises school to store toxic materials according to manufactures guidance that states “keep out of reach of children”. *NOTE: Assistant Director of Facilities, Stephen Starner, was present during time of inspection. Observed 1 light out in middle school boys locker room (work order was submitted during time of inspection). Observed dead insects inside of light shields sporadically throughout school building.
