General Comments

New Rule Updates relevant to inspection. Hot water shall be provided at temperatures between 105 degrees Fahrenheit and 116 degrees Fahrenheit at handwashing and bathing facilities. Facility hot water at bathroom lavatories reached 102F and 105F. New Residential Care Rules state temperature should be between 105 and 116F. .1615 (a) Openings to the outside of a residential care facility building or buildings shall be equipped with doors that are flush with the door frame when closed, closed windows, window screening on windows that can be opened, or controlled air currents to prevent pests from entering the building or buildings. Observed some windows that open with no screens or controlled air currents.
