No points were deducted for the following: 3. Observed carton of eggs stored on the same shelving as ready to eat foods. Explained to staff that eggs should be stored separately. Facility had recently been grocery shopping and drawer already contained eggs and the extra would not fit. Ready to eat food was separated. **All foods, while being stored, prepared, served, and during transportation, shall be protected from contamination. 15A NCAC 18A .1620 (a).
