General Comment: #13. Observed single service articles(paper plates) not properly stored in room B-2. Store paper plates(single service articles) once opened in a clean place, inverted down or in an enclosed container or bag.**Single-service articles must be kept clean and protected from contamination. 15A NCAC 18A .2809 (8), .2814 (a) and (b). #34. Observed loose handles on cabinet doors in room B-2. Tightly secure loose handles on cabinet doors. Observed varnish/sealant worn from front of cabinet doors. Highly recommend refurbishing( add coat of wood sealant/varnish) cabinet doors. Clean/dust top of smart board projectors. Clean/dust computer monitors.**Toys, equipment, furniture, and any other items accessible to the children shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a), (b). #48. Observed fire ant mound near school building within the playground area. Have exterminator to address ant mound on the playground area.**Keep the facility free of rodents, insects and vermin. 15A NCAC 18A .2831 (b). 49. Observed standing water in containers/bins on playground. Store toys/fixtures on the playground so they do not hold or collect water. Replace missing pedals on tricycles.**Keep the property free of standing water. 15A NCAC 18A .2831 (b). All play ground equipment must be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2832 (c ). Ms. Callum and Ms. Kobel present at time of inspection.
