No demerits were issued for the following: 5. Observed almond milk stored in refrigerator with a date of 3/29. Ensure that bulk milk brought in from parents are received unopened, dated when opened and returned home at the end of the week. **All food shall be stored and handled in a manner that protects it from contamination. 15A NCAC 18A .2806 (d),(f), .2807 (b), and .2808 (e). 27. Observed diaper changing mat torn in infant room. Mat was replaced. **Diaper changing surface must be easily cleanable, non-absorbent, smooth, and intact. 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (b). 39. Observed dust build up on vent cover in hallway near the two year old room. Needs to be cleaned. Rusted vent cover in one year old room. **Keep all ventilation related equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2826 (b). Observed lights not shielded in hallway near two year old room. **Light bulbs must be shatterproof or shielded. 15A NCAC 18A .2826 (a). 49. Observed deck with chipping paint and damaged board near front entrance. Needs to be repainted and repaired. Observed large play equipment with green panel loose. Needs to be secured. **Keep the premises clean and free of dilapidated structures and broken play equipment. 15A NCAC 18A .2832 (a).
