Facilities shall maintain an accurate and calibrated metal stem thermometer. 15A NCAC 18A .2807 (h) and .2809 (12). Observed inaccurate thermometer (5F degrees) in kitchen. Metal stem thermometers shall be accurate to 2F degrees, to assure proper temperatures of foods. |

Keep all floors, walls, and ceilings, clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2824 and .2825. Observed build up (from heavy foot traffic) embedded in carpet at and around the edge in classrooms. Increase cleaning frequency and clean carpet when visibly dirty. |
