Observed the care giver improperly cleaned / disinfected the diapering surface after changing a diaper; cleaned with soapy water, then sprayed with disinfectant and immediately wiped dry, then sprayed on sanitizer to air-dry.
**To clean and disinfect diapering surface: 1) Spray soapy water onto surface 2) Wipe off soapy water 3) Spray disinfectant onto surface until surface is glistening wet 4) Let disinfectant sit for at least 2 minutes or until air dry. 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (d). |
