15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b). All hazardous items must be stored behind lock and key. Observed 3 containers of Swiffer refill liquid stored on shelf in Red buds 2 bathroom. Observed liquid air freshener on shelf behind books in hall near Red buds and saplings 2 class. Observed container of room spray with essential oil stored in unlocked cabinet in Green Pines class. Observed locks not working as intended in jack and jill bathroom between Yellow willows and Green pines. Lock wouldn't latch without manually latching from the inside. Repair. |

15A NCAC 18A .2825 (a) In child care centers, the walls and ceilings, including doors and windows, of all rooms and areas, shall be kept clean, free of visible fungal growth, and in good repair. All walls and ceilings shall be free of peeling, flaking, chalking, or otherwise deteriorating paint. Observed ceiling tiles around all ceiling vents in Red buds class. Note: class a little warmer than all other areas. Temperature not of concern at the time. Please monitor. |
