No Points Deducted: 12. Observed the refrigerator in need of cleaning- red room. Keep all food service equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (f) 13. Observed single service cups and utensils stored unprotected. (Mouthpieces of cups were not covered nor inverted and all utensils were stored in different directions which could lead to contamination when the children reach in to obtain theirs. Provide a way to protect all single service items. Single-service articles must be kept clean and protected from contamination. 15A NCAC 18A .2809 (8), .2814 (a) and (b). 32. Observed the cots not labeled properly- Toddler. Update. All cribs, beds, cots and mats must be labeled with each individual child's name. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (c).
