NO POINTS WERE TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING: #12 - Observed cleaning needed on reach-in cooler fan in kitchen. **Keep all non-food contact surfaces and equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (f) and .2809 (1) and (3). #29 - CRITICAL VIOLATION Observed two aerosol cans of PAM in kitchen not stored behind lock and key. Director relocated PAM to locked storage cabinet above chemicals. Observed one aerosol can of air freshener being stored in high, unlocked cabinet in toddler classroom. **All hazardous items must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b). #31 - Observed cleaning needed in cabinets of rooms 5 and 7. **Adequate space shall be provided for the storage of equipment, furniture, toys, clothes, linens, backpacks, book bags, diaper bags, beds, cots, mats, and supplies and shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (a). #35 - Observed mouth toys not being removed from play after being mouthed in infant room and older toddler room. Ensure items are being observed and removed from play to be cleaned after being mouthed. **In areas where children are not toilet trained, small mouth contact toys shall be washed, rinsed, sanitized (submerged for 2 minutes), and allowed to air dry, after use and more frequently when visibly dirty. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a). #44 - Observed cleaning needed on exterior of garbage can in room 5. Observed trash can to be broken in need of replacement in room 8. **Garbage containers, mops and other cleaning equipment shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2830 (b). #49 - Observed shed outside with broken wood and roof caving in certain spots. Children do not use this section of playground and Director stated the shed is soon to be removed. **Keep the premises clean and free of dilapidated structures and broken play equipment. 15A NCAC 18A .2832 (a).
