General Comments

General Comment: Observed baby bottle in refrigeration unit with child 's name but the date was missing from bottle. Teacher placed date on baby bottle. Make sure baby bottles are labeled with child's name and date bottle was brought into center.**Label all baby bottles, sippy-cups, and bottled beverages sent from home with the child's name and date it was brought into the facility. 15A NCAC 18A .2804 (d) #19. Observed water fountain not completely turning off. Repair water fountain in hallway near kitchen. #21. Observed cold water handle on hand washing sink faucet fixture in bathroom between Tryon and Davidson leaking. Repair leaking handle on faucet fixture.**Keep. hand washing sinks clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2818 (a). #30. Observed hand lotion stored on lower shelving(less than five feet vertical distance) in unlocked closet in College room. Closet door was locked but was not pushed shut for locking mechanism to work. Make sure locked doors are completely closed! Corrected at time of inspection.**Approved non-hazardous products must be stored 5 ft above the floor or behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b), (c ) and (d). #49. Store items on the playground so they do not hold or collect water. Fixture inverted down at time of inspection. Replace cracked sensory table bin. Keep the property free of standing water. 15A NCAC 18A .2831 (b). All play ground equipment must be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2832 (c ).
