General Comments

Rhomonda Hudson was present during the inspection. A FOLLOW-UP VISIT WILL BE MADE TO VERIFY CORRECTION FOR #12 AND #48 NO DEMERITS WERE ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING: 10. Observed mostly single service utensils used for meals, however multi-use sippy cups in use for toddlers. Ensure cups are properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized using dishwasher and 2 compartment sink. **Multi-use utensil washing handout was issued by email. 17. (CRITICAL) Observed gate was in place between the dinette table and wall near pantry. Recommend a longer gate from the wall near pantry to the wall near the restroom door for more secure gate positioning. 32. Observed torn linen on one infant crib. **Individual linen shall be provided for all beds, cots, or mats. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (c ). 39. Observed the fan blades with dust build-up in the care room. **Keep fan blades clean and free of dust. 48. Observe one live roach in the kitchen. Cleaning kitchen cabinets and equipment will help improve pest management. **Provide effective pest control to completely eliminate pest presence.
