General Comment: #10. Observed metal shaving on can opener. Can opener cleaned at time of inspection. Multi-service utensils must be washed, rinsed, and sanitized after each use. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (e) #12. Defrost and clean ice from freezer section of refrigeration unit in infant room and freezer in kitchen. Discard damaged oven mitten/glove and discard damaged oven mitten/glove.**Keep all non-food contact surfaces and equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (f) and .2809 (1) and (3). #16. Monitor water .temperature closely. Observed water temperature in bathroom near kitchen reach 112F +/- two degrees accuracy with my thermometer. Water temperature shall be 80F-110F.**Hot water shall be maintained between 80°F and 110°F at hand washing sinks accessible to children. 15A NCAC 18A .2815 (e). #32. Observed sleeping mat nicked at folding area on sleeping mat in toddler room. Monitor and replace any damaged sleeping mat.***Keep all mats, cots, and cribs clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (a). #49. Observed old weathered kitchen set on playground remove and discard old kitchen set.**All play ground equipment must be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2832 (c ).
