15A NCAC 18A .2824 (c). Carpet shall be vacuumed daily and extraction cleaned at least once each 6 months. Cleaning materials including surfactants, solvents, and water used for extraction shall be removed from the carpet before the space is reoccupied. Observed no documentation for carpet clean. REPEAT.
15A NCAC 18A .2825 (a) In child care centers, the walls and ceilings, including doors and windows, of all rooms and areas, shall be kept clean, free of visible fungal growth, and in good repair. All walls and ceilings shall be free of peeling, flaking, chalking, or otherwise deteriorating paint. Observed crack at ceiling near front windows. Observed damage to ceiling at outside entrance. Needs repair.
