All medications must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (d). Observed burn/scape ointment stored on high shelving in first aid kit. Item ointment states "keep out of reach of children" with additional warning. EHS educated director on the need for hazardous item to be locked behind lock and key. Director took ointment and locked it behind lock and key during time of inspection. If violation is observed during next inspection demerits will be taken.
