Observed toys drying on the counter by the kitchen sink. Per the employee, she used soapy water then rinsed the toys and allowing them to air dry. She has been informed again that toys must be sanitized as well. Follow the rule below.
In areas where children are not toilet trained, small mouth contact toys shall be washed, rinsed, sanitized (submerged for 2 minutes), and allowed to air dry, after use and more frequently when visibly dirty. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a). |
