General Comments

General Comment: #5. Observed (daycare)frozen raw hamburger in tube stored on sheet pan near (church)deli meats. Pre cooked/sliced deli meats is to be used for church' s Wednesday night sandwich night. Store raw meat and raw egg products below and away from other food products to be used in daycare or church. Food products properly stored at time of inspection.****Raw meats, poultry, fish, shellfish, and eggs shall be stored on shelving beneath and separate from other foods. 15A NCAC 18A .2806 (f) #17. Observed coffee maker and coffee stored in general area where children eat at. Remove coffee maker and coffee pot from general area. Place coffee maker and coffee pot in locked teacher lounge area.******Hot water at areas accessible to children shall not exceed 120°F. 15A NCAC 18A .2815 (e). #18. Observed water hose connected to hose bibs on front and back playground. Provide back flow prevention device on hose bibs.**Maintain backflow prevention on all hose bibs and threaded faucets. 15A NCAC 18A .2815 (c). #19. Observed water pressure too high on smaller water fountain near front entrance. Adjust water pressure on water fountain.**Water pressure at drinking fountains must be high enough so that water clears mouth nozzle, and so that water does not splash on the floor. 15A NCAC 18A .2815 (f). #28. Observed bottle of Benadryl stored in bag along with an Epi Pin five feet vertical distance out of reach of children in toddler 2 class. Benadryl is not an emergency medication listed on Emergency Medication For Child Care Centers that may be kept out of reach of children. Benadryl locked away at time of inspection! #32. Observed child's name posted above crib in baby 2 room and the cribs had numbers on them. Crib numbers placed on sign above crib beside child's name at time of inspection.***All cribs, beds, cots and mats must be labeled with each individual child's name. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (c ). Place missing cover over electrical wiring on water heater located under cabinet area immediately! -------> CHAIN AND LOCK PLACED ON CABINET DOOR AT TIME OF INSPECTION.Monitor area around cabinet handles throughout in rooms and repaint if needed.
