General CommentsNo demerits were issued for the following: 27. Observed child return to playing after diaper was changed in room 1433. I arrived in the room as the changing was ending and began speaking with caregiver who had changed the toddler. Toddler began playing with toys while caregiver was engaged in our conversation. Ensure that all children are taken to have their hands washed immediately after. Toys were in handwashing sink near diaper changing table sanitizing. Encouraged staff to use that sink during down time so hands could be washed there. **Follow the correct diaper changing procedure as described in 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (d). 34. Observed trucks with build up in room 1422. Needs to be cleaned. **Toys, equipment, furniture, and any other items accessible to the children shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a), (b).
