General Comments

(NO POINTS DEDUCTED) #19 Observed left side hall water fountain with too much pressure. Water spilling over edge collecting on floor. Water fountian pressure in need of adjustment. **Water pressure at drinking fountains must be high enough so that water clears mouth nozzle, and so that water does not splash on the floor. 15A NCAC 18A .2815 (f). #23 Observed hand washing sign not present in boys hall restroom. Provide hand washing sign at all hand sinks. Signage was attached. to email. Observed toilet paper and other items stored underneath following hand sinks: boys hall restroom, 3's, and 2's. **Keep sinks free of exposure to exposed sewer lines. #25 Observed diaper changing tables not being properly disinfected due to low concentration provided with disinfectant. Disinfectant shall be properly made to adequately disinfect changing table. A PROVISIONAL CLASSIFICATION will be issued next visit if diaper changing table is not prooperly being disinfected. **To clean and disinfect diapering surface: 1) Spray soapy water onto surface 2) Wipe off soapy water 3) Spray disinfectant onto surface until surface is glistening wet 4) Let disinfectant sit for at least 2 minutes or until air dry. 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (d). #27 Observed caregiver in toddlers not wipe her hands before wiping childs hands. Ensure hands are wiped before childs hands are wiped. **Follow the correct diaper changing procedure as described in 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (d). #32 Observed cribs in both infant rooms with labels present on wall.
