General Comments

NO POINTS WERE TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING: #5 - Observed sugar not labeled in kitchen. Label all food items that are not easily identifiable such as pasta, spices, oil, etc. Observed cases of water bottles being stored on the floor in the storage closet. **Keep all food stored off the floor and in a manner that permits easy cleaning of the storage area. 15A NCAC 18A .2806 (d) #10 - Employee in infant room stated infants eat off of highchair trays and that they only clean them daily in the kitchen. Observed clean sippy cups in infant room stacked while still wet. Observed build-up in the ice machine. Ensure ice machine is properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized per the manufacturers instructions or as often as needed. **Highchair feeding trays, shall be washed, rinsed, and sanitized after each use. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (e). **Completely air-dry all equipment and utensils before stacking or storing the items. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (h) #12 - Observed bottle warmer in infant room with build-up. Clean bottle warmer. Observed dust build-up on the fan covers in the walk-in cooler. #27 - Observed spray bottles of solution unlabeled in the infant room and laundry room. **All cleaning and disinfectant solutions shall be properly labeled (i.e. soapy water, disinfectant). 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (c ) and .2820 (c ). #29 - Observed Lysol aerosol spray and first aid kit with alcohol pads present in the top drawer of the filing cabinet in 2 year olds room. Director stated it was for Sunday school. Lysol was taken to be locked up. **All hazardous items must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (b). This inspection was led by Savannah Parker and supervised by Nicole Bruce.
