General Comments

Cindy Wingate was present during the inspection. CCA form was issued.#5 - Observed one infant milk bottle with 8/27 date. **Meals, non-frozen breast milk, formula, and other bottled beverages brought from home shall be returned to the child's home or discarded at the end of each day. 15A NCAC 18A .2804 (d) and (f). **Label all baby bottles, sippy-cups, and bottled beverages sent from home with the child's name and date it was brought into the facility. 15A NCAC 18A .2804 (d)#21 - Observed the sink drain was clogged in the older school-age room. Sink was repaired by maintenance during the inspection. **Keep handwashing sinks clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2818 (a).#28 - Emergency medication (epiPen, asthma inhailers, etc) must be stored unlocked above 5ft of the floor. **Designated emergency medications shall be stored out of reach of children (5 ft above the floor). 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (d).Observed a container of petroleum jelly was stored in an unlocked cabinet (above 5ft) in the 2s room. The care giver stated that it was used for a child's lips. **All medications must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (d).
