GENERAL COMMENTS NO DEMERITS FOR THE FOLLOWING VIOLATIONS: #27. All cleaning and disinfectant solutions shall be properly labeled (i.e. soapy water, disinfectant). 15A NCAC 18A .2819 (c ) and .2820 (c ). Observed disinfectant bottle in infant room not labeled. #30. Purses, that do not contain hazardous items, must be stored 5 ft above the floor, behind lock and key, or behind a child safety lock. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (f). Observed purse stored on handsink in infant room below 5ft. #39. Keep all ventilation related equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2826 (b). Observed dead insects inside of light shields inside of restroom. *NOTE: Director Michelle Byrd was present during time of inspection. Observed ceiling stains throughout facility. EHS advises center to ensure no active leak is occurring and replace stained ceiling tiles. (girls restroom on main hallway, after school room, restroom connected to 1 and 2 year old rooms). Observed staining to kitchen ceiling. Observed touch up paint needed to corners of walls throughout center (wall corners near main restroom).
