Observed chipping/ missing paint on bathroom door, gate to kitchen, lower section of wall in after school room, base of mantle in pre school room, behind cribs in infant/toddler room, merry go round and crawl through barrel on playground. LEAD SWAB TEST PERFORMED ON ALL THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE AND LEAD SWAB TEST READ NEGATIVE! Repaint/ touch-up paint throughout day care where needed. Finish installing shoe moulding near teacher work room. Repair floor in infant/toddler room. Repaint ceiling where light fixture was repaired in back hallway. Repaint merry go round and crawl through barrel. Lead swab test performed on merry go round and crawl through barrel and results were negative for lead. Observed some loose shingles on front and back roof of daycare. Secure and repair any damaged shingles. Observed attic vent wood in bad repair at pitch of roof on back side of daycare. Repair any damaged wood around attic vent and repaint. All play ground equipment must be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2832 (c ).
