20. Observed chemical spot test positive for lead on baseboard in 4's classroom on B side of building under window closest to A side and on D side of building near dining area. Staff should restrict area from interaction with children and are permitted to clean area with only soapy water. **No other work on area is to be completed until approval is given from the department.21. Observed hand sink slow draining in kitchen.Keep handwashing sinks clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2818 (a).Caregiver in 2's room stated incorrect change of use of hand sink for food preparation, stated sink would be cleaned and sanitized.Sinks shall be cleaned and disinfected at least daily, when visibly soiled, and when the designated use of the handwashing sink has been changed. 15A NCAC 18A .2818 (c).34.
