General Comments

#1. Floors shall be free of obstacles to cleaning. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). Repair floor/ floor threshold at/near entrance to elevator on first floor. Repair flooring near entrance to 3071 clean supply room. #3. Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. Repair wall behind soiled linen bins in patients rooms and touch-up paint. Continue to wipe/clean scuff marks from walls. Continue to touch-up paint/repaint throughout hallways, rooms and door framing to rooms. #4. Observed light not working in shower within patient room. Light bulb was replaced in light fixture at time of inspection and light is working. #8.Keep all bathing equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (a) and (f). Observed base corner and floor grout soiled in shower area in bathroom in room 3245. Lower section of shower wall and grout clean in shower area at time of inspection. Replace broken shower wand holder in (1) bathroom/shower within room. #22. #22. All solid wastes shall be disposed of with sufficient frequency and in such a manner as to prevent insect breeding or public health nuisances. 15A NCAC 18A .1316 (d). Clean ground around dumpster area and keep clean at all times! #35.Patient contact items shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (c). Replace missing arm rest on wheel chair in lobby area. Refurbish physicals therapy climbing steps which varnish is wearing/worn off .#40. Food brought from home by employees or visitors of patients or residents shall be stored separately from the institution's food supply and shall be labeled with the name of the person to receive the food and the date the food was brought into the facility. 15A NCAC 18A .1321 (b). Observed container of food product not labeled in nourishment refrigeration unit. Have staff or patients to label the food with their name or room number and the date the food was brought into the facility. Container of food discarded at time of inspection.
