#3. Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. Continue to secure loose corner of wall paper throughout where needed; if needed (area near handwashing sinks and at bends on walls). Tightly secure loose corner wall protectors. Repair hole in wall in room 604 and continue to patch small holes in walls throughout where needed. Monitor ceiling around column in waiting area and repair if needed. Wipe/dust high window ledges. #8. Keep all bathing equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (a) and (f). Keep all handwashing facilities clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (b)Observed base corner of shower soiled in (1) room, EVS called immediately to clean and disinfect base corner of shower. Observed (1) faucet fixture on hand washing bin/trough in maternity operating room not working. Maintenance came immediately and repair faucet fixture on hand washing sink. Hand washing sink/bin/ trough consist of two faucet fixture, which (1) was not operating, but repaired at time of inspection. #32. All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). Continue to refurbish or replace nightstands/bedside tables in rooms and wooden head board in maternity units. Refurbish or replace chairs in waiting rooms which covering is damaged/ torn/worn. Wipe/dust top of fixtures/furniture.
