General Comments

No Points were deducted for the following items: 28. Observed boxed bedside toilet stored on the floor in the soiled utility room 1327. Spoke with administrators about having box relocated. **Suitable rooms or spaces shall be provided for the storage of all necessary equipment, furniture, and supplies, and kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (a). **All patient care or consumable items shall be stored at least 8 inches above the floor. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (a). 43. Observed refrigerator at 46F in nourishment room in OSCUA. Maintenance was called to check refrigerator as soon as it became evident the temperature was high (prior to inspection). There was no hazardous items in the refrigerator at the time of inspection. **All refrigerators shall maintain a temperature of 45°F or below. 15A NCAC 18A .1323 (b). NOTE: Inspection was conducted in mainly the new building. MRI which is located in the old building was examined due to it being in use. Renovations are still underway in the old building and several portions were inaccessible. OSCUA, OSCUB and OSCUC (old building) were looked at during the inspection.
