No points were deducted for the following: 3. Observed wall damage in room 209. Observed water stained ceiling tile in the laundry room on the 3rd floor. Observed wall damage in the laundry room. Needs to be repaired. Ensure that no leaks are ongoing. **Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. 12. Observed no paper towel or other means of drying hands in the laundry room on the 3rd floor. Paper towels were provided during the inspection. **Provide liquid soap and disposable towels at all handwashing sinks. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (d). 24. Observed dead insects in the biohazard closet on the 2nd floor. Increase pest management. **Effective measures shall be taken to keep flies, rodents, cockroaches, and other vermin out of the establishment and to prevent their breeding or presence on the premises. 15A NCAC 18A .1317 (a). 32. Observed sink under the handwashing sink in need of cleaning. Needs to be cleaned. NOTE: Only sink in need of repair throughout facility. **All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). 43. Observed no thermometer in the refrigerator in rooms 306 and 329. Thermometers were provided. **All refrigerators shall have a thermometer and situated so that the thermometer can be easily read. 15A NCAC 18A .1323 (b).
