No Points Deducted: 2. -Observed urine on the floor in front of the toilet & stains on the carpet by the bed in MC room 105. Keep all flooring clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). -Observed a urine smell in the MC unit. Extract carpet often. All carpet shall be kept odor free. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). 28. Observed depends stored on the closet floor in 214. All patient care or consumable items shall be stored at least 8 inches above the floor. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (a). 32. Observed residue under the sink cabinet and on the cabinet doors in Activity room. Clean. All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). 39. Observed a rotten orange and moldy berries in the refrigerator in room 232. CDI- Discarded. All food and food supplies shall be clean, free from spoilage, free from adulteration and misbranding, and safe for human consumption. 15A NCAC 18A .1321 (a).
