General Comments

Clean bed linen in good repair shall be provided for each individual and shall be changed when soiled. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (b). Observed blood stain on pillow cover in room 9. Observed documents for washing machine sanitizer concentration not readily accessible. 5A NCAC 18A .1319 (b) FURNISHINGS AND PATIENT CONTACT ITEMS. Floors in intensive care units, bathrooms, showers, hydrotherapy areas, operating rooms, soiled utility rooms and laundry areas shall be of smooth, non-absorbent materials and so constructed as to be easy to clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). Observed build up on shower floors in spa room.
