General Comments

NO POINTS TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING VIOLATIONS: #3. Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. Observed damage to walls throughout memory care unit in rooms. #16. Observed an incomplete backup water supply plan. Provide a written plan that meets all parts of 15A NCAC 18A .1313 (f). Observed back up water supply plan that did not detail all the rules as outlined in 15A NCAC 18A .1313 (f). EHS emailed facility a guidane template for back up water supply plan. #28. All patient care or consumable items shall be stored at least 8 inches above the floor. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (a). Observed box of patient rags stored on the floor in laundry clean linen closet. #30. Food and utensils used on medication carts shall be handled in a sanitary manner. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (c). Observed all pill crushers on several medication carts checked during time of inspection with heavy black build up inside of crusher. Clean/Replace. #33.Clean bed linen in good repair shall be provided for each individual and shall be changed when soiled. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (b). Observed stains on bed linen in room 209.
