General Comments

Angela Rigsbee was present during the inspection. NO POINTS DEDUCTED FOR THE FOLLOWING: 3. Observed walls in the soiled linen closets were damaged / scraped due to the storage carts bumping / rubbing the wall; water damaged ceiling tiles in clean linen closet on the 2nd floor. **repair walls. Recommend installing bump guards to prevent damage 4. Observed one light as not working in the 3HC storage closet. 8. Observed no sinks present in resident shower rooms (with toilets). Reviewed hand hygiene procedure: hands must be sanitized, then use the closest common sink to thoroughly wash hands. Hands washing sink guidance document was provided by email. 12. Observed one paper towel dispenser was jammed in 3HC laundry room. **Ensure paper towels are supplied at each hand washing area at all times. 14. Observed a second disinfectant product used (Trident). **Ensure that all disinfectant is approved for use in institutional settings.
